Husband and wife seperated for few years what are reasons for divorce

Me and my husband both are seperated from last few years. We are from pune . somehow i got job in Mumbai in 2018 and from that time we are seperated. Husband never came to meet me. no contact no messages.he not even talk about divorce.is this mental cruelty? Can i file divorce on this basis? what ae possible reason for divorce on this? is it contested divorce? i am living with daughter how to claim maintenance in this case?

sorry to know about your situation. You got to first decide whether you want to ask him for cohabitation or to get divorce. You have couple of legal options with you. If going for divorce then don't think about maintenance and if...

This could be the case for contested divorce if husband is not ready to give divorce by mutual consent and the ground for divorce could be cruelty and may be desertion as well. You may ask for maintenance of your child by filing separate case for maintenance as well.
