Dear Sir,

You have to file through your daughter multiple cases against your son-in-law to teach him a lesson. After granting interim maintenance for your daughter and your granddaughter. You may get FLW and NBW against your son-in-law and thus threaten to put him in the jail.

the first thing to do is to file a police complaint and register an FIR under section 498A, 506 of IPC and dowry prohibition act, further file a domestic violence act and get protection order to stay away from your daughter and her relatives and premises, further also file an application for maintenance in domestic violence case, lastly if your daughter is not interested in leading life with her husband then file a Divorce petition and also claim permanent alimony and maintenance for future life.

You just do the police complaints for dowry harassment and domestic violence and also give separate police complaints for threatening you and your family. If police don’t take it then approach commissioner office.
