Husband abandones wife and son

We live in uae. We've had marriage issues but husband has abandoned me and my 4 year son and ran off to india after 7 yrs together. Now he is putting pressure on us to move back. I am settled and working and child is in school as well. He is threatening that he will take away my son. Is it better i divorce here or uae. What for my child?? He has never supported us financially and even now i pay for everything for my child and the home.

Since the child is less than 7 years you will have custody of child.... Marriage can be dissolved only where wife reside or where marriage was solemnised... Decree passed by court of foreign may not be recognised in India so its advisable to take divorce in India...

Yes madam, You better to take divorce from him. If he has any properties, share will be goes to child. you are required to apply divorce in India. if he is working man, claim maintenance from him for welfare of the child. Don't worry about child custody, the kid is in your custody, if he wants kid custody, then he will move to file custody petition. kindly contact for further details
