You can file for divorce. Since you have been separated for two years, it can be a valid ground for divorce. The petition must be filed in an Indian family court where the marriage was solemnized or where you last lived together. If you are abroad, you may authorize someone through a Power of Attorney or request a virtual hearing if permitted by the court. Required documents include the marriage certificate, ID proofs, address proof, and proof of separation. Parents' presence is not necessary for the divorce process

Yes, a mutual divorce is possible. The process typically takes six months; however, if you have been separated for two years, the court may grant an immediate divorce, subject to its satisfaction. You may file for divorce using a power of attorney from abroad. Parental consent is not required. Necessary documentation includes your marriage certificate, proof of residence, passport, and visa.
