How to annul an illegal second marriage

My Hindu son married a christial girl 15years back. It was not known to me or my family.now only I came to know that the girl was already married and her husband still alive married some other girl. They may not divorce properly. My son had a daughter 13years old. My son knows the fact already. They are not happy now and want to come out from that illegal life. Can I take any legal action against that girl under bigamy act for the annulment order from the court.

Being a parent you have no locus against that girl for suppressing the facts about her earlier marriage which marriage is still valid one. She has committed bigamy and hence she can be hauled in a court for the same. However your son has a right to move the court to rescind the marriage by filing proper application before the Family court.

It is too late after 15 years to annul a marriage which will be a mockery. Even assuming that the fact was discovered just now, it will be difficult to establish the fact in issue before the court of law. Therefore, a petition can be filed on the grounds of cruelty.
