You can get mutual consent divorce and can show that you and your wife have not cohabited together as husband and wife for last one year which can be taken on record as date of separation. Please contact us so that we can draft a memorandum of understanding between you and your wife for settling all issues and terms and conditions for mutual consent divorce. Thereafter, we can file for mutual consent divorce in the court of your jurisdiction. Fee details can be shared on phone.

You can file a joint petition for divorce by mutual consent in the District Court. The court will after 6 months pass the decree of divorce if it is satisfied with the facts stated in the Joint Petition provided that the consent has not been withdrawn by either party. The legal expenses and exact procedure can only be commented upon after examining the exact facts of the case such as religion of both the parties of marriage, place of solemnization of marriage etc.

Mutual consent divorce is a simple two step procedure, the first motion and the second motion .
Firstly depending upon where you are staying/ or where your marriage was solemnised a first motion is moved in the jurisdictional court. Generally a date is fixed in a day or two of the presentation of first motion papers.
The second motion is move after a period of 6 months of passing of the decree of first motion.the max time limit to move the second motion is 18 months. The procedure is simple and not expensive , the expenses can be discussed once we meet,.

Sir, it will be best to personally sit across the table and discuss the fees that are payable to counsel for proceedings praying for a decree for divorce by mutual consent. There are various factors such as place of marriage etc. that need to be considered before anything definitive can be commented upon.
