For Maintenance from Husband for Me and my daughter.

My husband was abusive towards me and my daughter. He used to physically hurt us and for that reason I took our daughter and started staying separate in other city. I am running small beauty parlour for living and struggling very much! I asked husband for maintenance but he refused and asked to stay with him but me and my daughter both don't want to stay with him. I don't have money to get a lawyer and fight in court. It's been more than 4-5 years were separated. What to do please help?

Dear client as per your query since you got separated since four to five years you can apply for maintenance case in court so that your daughter can get maintenance is your husband having any job so that you could get the maintenance

Hello, You can immediately file a case against your husband for maintenance of yourself and your daughter under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act,2005. You can also ask for divorce from your husband. Regards

there is no problem we need to sit and then analyse your entire situation and what best can be done i need detailed facts of each and everything to guide and do your case getting maintenance order in favour of lady in society is not a big issue
