Time required to get decree and judgment in a divorce case depends upon what kind of divorce you are filing- mutual or contested. As for mutual it takes less time as compared with contested one. Yes after divorce you can marry with anybody else. As for custody of child, it again depends upon many other factors.

If divorce petition is by mutual consent then it takes six months from the date of filing petition. There should be separation of atleast one year. After divorce you can marry definitely. Child's custody be as per terms you both will mention in mutual petition. If it is contested then it will go long.
