Family matter - Filing a divorce

I am married for 11 years with 2 kids. I have managed to survive an abusive household in the hope that it will get better eventually however it has turned worse now. Husband is a liar, manipulative abuser & so are his parents. I have tried living separately but husband then always proves that his parents are not a problem by fighting, creating scenes. He has physically assaulted me once, 2 years ago. Can the law help me get justice?
