in this case it is better that you apply for bail and thereafter file a petition for quashing in high court, if the said criminal case is quashed it will help you in divorce petition also, further as you have filed divorce petition first thereafter they have filed police complaint there are better chances that the complaint will be quashed.

If she has given complaint with the police and FIR is lodged, there is an option for you to go to High Court for quashing of the FIR. if you do not do it immediately police will also file charge sheet will make the matter difficult. you can contact me for the high court matter.

Dear Sir,

It is better to apply for anticipatory bail and simultaneously apply for quashing on the basis of your complaint which was already registered against them. Thus, you have ample chances to get an order of quashing of the subsequent FIR against all of your family members except you.
