False claim of stridhan by wife

My wife has filed a divorce case and in that she has filed that streedhan was given at the time of wedding, which was never given. This is a false accusation. She has produced few bills to claim the streedhan. Since we have never seen nor received nor it is in our possession. How to we fight this case as she has filed a recovery petition. Please help in this regard.

1. since you have never seen nor received nor in your possession you can bring it to the court notice that your wife allegations are wrong and she is misguiding the court. 2. you have to contest the case and prove that you have not received any sreedharan items with you.

You have to subject her to proper cross examination both in the divorce case and in the recovery case to disprove that any sthreedhan was given. your cross examination should include challenging the bills as well as the evidence that she produces.

Dear Sir, Such case will be dismissed unless she establish her case. Mere production of bills does not prove her case. All along you must deny her false allegation of giving streedhan to you. Till today she has not filed any complaint against you under Section 406 of Indian Penal Code. Thus, it is very difficult for her to win the case.
