False 498a case - can wife withdraw the FIR after it is filed?

I am going through a matrimonal dispute and live overseas. My wife filed FIR under 498a case a year ago (12 years in marriage) naming me and my parents. IO has been asking for me to return to India for investigation. I was overseas when FIR was filed. I don't see chargesheet filed yet and it will be close to a year since FIR was filed.
I was wondering if IO can issue lookout notice against me. If wife intents to , can she withdraw the FIR now?
Is your wife ready to withdraw the case? Than you and your wife can mutually file a petition in high court for quashing of FIR , than court can quash the FIR . You can share FIR and other details. And if wife is not ready to withdraw than also you can file the same petition in high court for quashing of FIR BUT we must have valid grounds for that, you can discuss with me. Thank you
