Your oral testimony or in writing is sufficient ground for proving mental harassment. Strengthen your oral or written evidence with instances of mental cruelty like continuous non – cohabitation or denying the physical relationships, verbal and physical abuses, arrogant behavior, an incompatible or ever-increasing difference of opinion aggravating the domestic relationship. Audio and video evidence are the best evidence and it is broadly admitted by the court.

In DV you don’t have to prove anything. Mental agony and emotional harassment is itself a cause for filing for DV. You can always file a DV against your husband and the in laws and claim monthly maintenance and a lump some alimony also.

Domestic Violence can be proven by circumstantial evidences. 1sr evidence is that you have left the home bcoz of the same, secondly the phone recordings, chats, family relatives, friends, police complaints, medical examination, demands, dowry and there are many things … all direct n indirect evidences are covered. In DV u can ask for residence, Maintenence etc Plz b in touch
