Dear Sir, Since your wife is a working woman and getting sufficient income for her maintenance. However, to maintain the equal status the Court may award a meager amount of Rs.5 to 10 thousand per month. You may resist the same on several ground and thus make it as Nil maintenance.

Hello sir, I can help you with the query. As per general law, you have to pay maintenance even when your wife is working. But the court will take a lot of criteria into consideration while giving the order.

sir in this case you have to prove that she is working and the amount which she is earning is sufficient for her to maintain herself, the court may reject and dismiss her claim of maintenance and interim maintenance.
