I am Rujuta .I got married 6 month back .My mother in law completely dominates me and like to control me .Same goes with husband.They don't allow me to visit anywhere according to my wish .If I don't obey according to their rule ,they taunt me in a very rude tone.love has completely faded and i don't feel like living with them .I fear them since they are short tempered .I want divorce peacefully and don't want to drag them to police by 498a. Is divorce through mutual consent possible....?since i am housewife,can i claim for alimony...?
Respected Madam,
You can apply for mutual consent divorce after completing 1 year of your marriage, before that you can not legally file divorce. If you wish you can file maintenance petition for getting maintenance from your husband.

for divorce in mutual both parties should have mutual consent can you are husband is ready for this you cannot mention in the problem if your husband is not ready for diverse in mutual condition then you have to file divorce petition in 2 competent Court on the ground of cruelty for this you can contact with me with papers immediately .
