I want to do job in different state but my husband and in laws are not allowing me to do and threatening me that either choose job in different state or else give divorce and go wherever you like and also giving me suicide threats and using abusive languages.what should I do .Do I have
any right to do my job in different state . Please help.
You absolutely have a right to do any job anywhere in the country as well as out of it. The situation as can be understood that your in laws are restraining you which hasn't got any legal basis; it's your decision about the divorce, if you think you can't survive compromising then you may carry on for separation, think over and proceed accordingly. first of all you take legal action against your husband and your in-laws in Section 498A Indian penal Code. and also file case in domestic violence Act. and only that attempt to commit suicide is criminal offence.
