Greetings of the day.. Do seek a detailed consultation for your issue. Hearings no body can guarantee, however it will be decreed soon in case you guys were separated legally through a decree of judicial separation. Do clarify why are you filing a second petition. What was a fate of 1st petition.

Your are mistaking two concepts of divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act. First motion and second motion are applicable in case of mutual divorce under 13 B whereas in case of desertion you have to file a normal suit under sec 13 to get divorce

the contested divorce takes more time ,as it depends on the presence of respondents,if no date respondents missed it will take 8 to 9 dates ,if on some date the respondents missed it may take more date , it also depends on the leave of the judge generally it takes 8 to 12 dates ,

If the behaviour of your partner is intolerable towards you and there is no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of 6 months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

if you are separated by two years or more then you can avail your legal options regarding that. but how many hearing you will take to get divorce after second petition it's not exact what you are asking for. whether court is on leave and so on as there are many factors regarding that
