Divorce from husband due to depression

Hi, I have been married to my husband for 9 years now. It was a love marriage. Initially it was all okay but as I started knowing him deeply he seems to be like a person who refuses to evolve and learn or grow. He also does not respect my parents or family and has manipulated many times to keep me away from them. Divorce proceedings are of 2 types which are either Mutual consent divorce when both the spouse agree for it and it takes 6 months time from the date of filing the petition. Or it can be contested divorce wherein you have file petition mentioning grounds for divorce from your spouse. Since it is contested petition, it takes time for court to decide it after hearing both the side. So you have to check what is possibility for you depending the facts and circumstances and nature of your spouse.

Hello you need to check options of mutual consent divorce also or filing restitution of conjugal rights, these are actually normal wear and tear of the marriage which can be controlled through mediation process also, please understand these circumstances cannot become grounds for getting separated, your query posted is inadequate
