divorce for arya samaz marriage

I have done arya samaz marriage. But i have no idea that my marriage is registered or not my husband didnt told me about registration but now i want divorce. I want to know the procedure only divorce is enough or i have to get my marriage unregiStered from anywhere. Actually i have entered a petition for divorce Before 5 months my lawyer said i will get it final in 10 days. After this i have to do second marriage my inlaws want a court marriage. Now am confused my lawyer said you have to get your marriage unregistered and for this he has asked me for 12000. I have already submitted fee for divorce 20000. Please tell me is he right or he is doing this for money. Only divorce is enough for second marriage.

as per law no marriage can get dissolved in 10 days. fir getting the divorce you nees to fight the case near about 6 to 12 month then only you can get diovrce granted. you lawyer isgivibh you wrong information to you.

once the marriage is done in accordance with the hindu marriage act , it is a valid marriage and teh only option to dissolve it is to get the divorce either om compromise based or contested once. the case will go pm for some times and the entire process will be completed like tendering evidence , cross examination and only then the case will be decided on merit.
