My kids education maintenance after divorce and settlement

in your divorce judgement and decree their must be something about the childs future educational and other expenses. nothing is mentioned there as guardian representing the minor child you can claim from your spouse.

you can file a petition under domestic violence act or under 125 of crpc claiming maintenance and education expenses even after settlement or divorce, but if you have already received some amount at time of divorce then you have to prove the changed circumstances that the amount received is insufficient or due to some other valid reasons the amount is spent and hence you require more maintenance or education expenses, the could will grant the relief.

Dear Sir, If the terms of maintenance and educational expenses of child not settled at the time of Divorce it is to be settled by way of separate case of child custody and maintenance. Normally, at the time of Divorce some lumpsum amount will be given to the wife towards full and final settlement of education and maintenance of the child.
