Chargesheet quashing in 482 and DP act

I had applied for sec 482 in chargesheet quashing against me in 498a, DP act. Police already removed family members name from chargesheet. Court had ordered for mediation but mediation failed in HC. in chargesheet police mentioned that my wife said that i asked for dowry. I have watsapp chat which shows that my wife agreed that i did not ask for dowry and no dowry was given. My lawyer says that this cannot be used in HC quashing and CS is generally not gets quashed in HC. Is this true??

It can used in HC but I need to know the matter in full length so kindly contact me as the relevant answer cannot be given on these facts. But yes whatsapp chat can be used in High Court as an evidence supporting your petition.

Nothing in this Code shall be deemed to limit or affect the inherent powers of the High Court to make such orders as may be necessary to give effect to any order under this Code, or to prevent abuse of the process of any Court or otherwise to secure the ends of justice.
