Hello, I got mutual consent divorce on 26th Jun 2018. My wife side asked me to pay 15000 INR to them, then only they will provide the court order and decree of divorce orginal to me. So I applied for the Certified Copy of court order and decree of divorce in the court through another lawyer. Now I got the court order and decree of divorce with court seal and Certified Xerox Copy stamped. Using the Certified Copy of court order and decree of divorce, whether I can able to cancel my registered marriage.

yes you can cancel the same. you have to apply to the sub registrar or registrar of marriage for cancellation, probably it was made at joint sub-registrar-ii chennai north the marriage registration can be cancelled contact eight seven seven eight seven four zero five three four
