Can wife demand for alimony after the divorce decree has been served

If wife divorced his husband on ground of impotency and cruelty and got decree of divorce under Hindu marriage act 1955. But no alimony has been granted to wife. Can wife is entitled to get permanent alimony/maintenance?
Yes she can file a maintenance case in the family court if she is unemployed and has no source of income for her and their children's livelihood ...
And if u have no kids then u can also claim for maintenance for urself in the case of unemployment and source of income...
