Can my friend ( man) get easily divorced ,if he apply for remarriage

My frnd filed for divorce in August 2016 but his wife filed dowry case against him.now 1 year is completed... Further nothing happened yet. I want to marry him but divorce has not happened yet.so our lawyer give us a solution for getting divorce easily and then automatically we get married. For this ....lawyer will give my name in court that he wants to marry that girl then court will give him easily divorce .is it possible ? this kind of rule exist. ?......we are from sonebhadra district in uttar Pradesh
This is no rule , ur friend has to give valid reason why he wants divorce after that he has to also prove the same thing against her wife. After her wife comes to court only then after getting divorce u can marry him.

Before getting a divorce from first wife it is illegal to get married so beware before taking such step & there is no such ground acceptable by court for getting divorce which your lawyer is telling you.

I am afraid that giving your name in the court will not solve the issue. The divorce procedure has to be followed. What exactly has happened in the divorce proceeding filed before the court? The fact that a dowry case has also been filed against your friend by his wife is also there. Please provide complete details of the matter.
