Can I withdraw consent of divorce after filling and attending first mo

16-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Husband filed divorce after one year of marriage. I later got ready for mutual consent divorce. First motion was filled. Second motion was filled after a month. I and my husband were present in second motion. Now my husband is talking to me and saying I can still join matrimonial house and continue and save marriage. Can I withdraw my consent for divorce after second motion filed and attended by both parties.

Hi,
As per the information provided by you, it is essential to understand when is the date of the matter and what allegation s have posted on the divorce petition. Only then proper advise can be given. We have done such cases whereby parties have agreed for cancellation of divorce but later on continued to stay away and eventually got divorced. To understand the situation better it is essential to have a meeting.

If there is no final decree passed by the court for the second motion then the same can be withdrawn before the same court. However is passed then the procedure is different. For any further legal assistance Please feel free to contact

Thanks

If you have given your statement in the second motion that you want mutual divorce and the order is passed by the court then it’s not possible to revive the marriage. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
