First try to show to the court that your wife was earning and having high qualification. Moreover, you should show in your Income & Assest Affidavit that you have the responsibility of your old age parents. and yes you can take the loan and show as liability.

yes, loans are also the liabilities. hence, you can show in the court that you have a liability to pay the loan. it will be considered while determining the maintenance cost. for further queries please contact the undersigned. also, please note that the maintenance is granted to those women who are unable to maintain themselves however, in your case your wife is earning hence, you can contest the matter if she seeks maintenance from you. in case of further queries please contact the undersigned.

Dear sir It is the well settled law that taking home loan after separation with your wife will not be considered a compulsory deduction and will not be treated as a liability upon you in order for you to escape from paying maintenance to her. You need to do find some other liabilities which may let you escape from it or to pay lesser maintenance. You may consult me in that regard.
