Can i get separation but our marriage is not registered
25-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
hi i am married but as per the court of law my marriage has not been registered and i want a separation so is it possible in such case.
For both the things your spouse too need to be ready. For normal sapareation no need of law but for judicial saperation and divorce the law is needed. Does not matter the wedding is registered or not but if you have evidence of social and ritual wedding as parents are present in the wedding then you need to go for the divorce or sapareation through court . For the same wedding photo with parents and wedding card is the evidence.

Hello Dear,
You can apply for separation/ Divorce as per the provisions of Hindu Marriage Act, provided it is applicable on you. Non-registration of marriage is not a bar to institution of a proceeding in the competent court for separation.
Please feel free to revert in case you have any further query.
Regards,
