Can i get separation but our marriage is not registered

hi i am married but as per the court of law my marriage has not been registered and i want a separation so is it possible in such case.

For both the things your spouse too need to be ready. For normal sapareation no need of law but for judicial saperation and divorce the law is needed. Does not matter the wedding is registered or not but if you have evidence of social and ritual wedding as parents are present in the wedding then you need to go for the divorce or sapareation through court . For the same wedding photo with parents and wedding card is the evidence.

Yes u can get divorce from your spouse either by contested divorce or through mutual consent divorce as per Hindu Marriage Act . But the separation period should be one year between the parties . for further details , discussion and briefing contact me .

Hello Dear,

You can apply for separation/ Divorce as per the provisions of Hindu Marriage Act, provided it is applicable on you. Non-registration of marriage is not a bar to institution of a proceeding in the competent court for separation.
