Can I Claim Maintenance without joining matrimonial home

In a contested divorce situation due to cruelty of wife [False allegation of impotency during a very short honeymoon trip] where marriage has taken place an year ago, what claim wife will have for maintenance, if she never joined matrimonial home after marriage?

Hi
regardless of the grounds claimed, any unemployed wife is entitled to claim maintenance from her husband.
In order to challenge, you should ask the court to send both of you to reconciliation and mediation and only after counsellor's report, your case should be taken.

not possible if you nave to prove your version she never get maintenance. you have to prove herself left from the matrimonial home without reason need not to pay maintenance.impotency plea not possible to prove cont advocate..
