Can I case behalf of my sister from the city I live

I want to file case of domestic violence and mentenece behalf of my sister,and I want to file it in my city where I live not my sister.is it possible.

The physical presence of your sister is not needed for filing of a maintenance case under section 125 CrPC & DV case. Only one time signature is necessary for filing of the case. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

If your sister has any proof that she is staying with you only then you can file the case from your jurisdiction ! Either she is staying there or she is working there ! You need to hire expert advocate to do proper home work before filing the case ! B in touch

You can file the suit for domestic violence before the concerted court. After examining the case and listing the parties, the court will give the judgment in your favour. The only thing you have to do is to go to court and file the petition through your advocate.

No mam it is not possible. It will be possible only if your sister comes and lives with you. You cannot file on behalf of your sister but only can pursue the case on her behalf. But there will be occassions, she will have to come to your place and in court.
