Can husband register marriage without wife presence. Please tell me

Can husband register the marriage without wife presence in register office in tamilnadu.. both are hindhus..he fabricated evidence as they got married already in temple and also witnesses. He also stole wife certificates needed to register...can he register without wife ..
no it is not possible anywhere in Tamil Nadu. if such events happening the wife can file a criminal case against the husband. a legal notice shall be sent to ig of registration not to entertain such registration.

As per the settled principles and the existing norms of registration, both the parties have to be present before the sub registrar are and they will be photo captured in the WebCam and their impressions will also be used. In case any malpractice had happened, you can write a complaint against the concerned sub registrar and your husband.

no it is not possible to register the marriage without the one or other, that is , wife and husband should be present compulsorily before the registrar for registration if marriage, without the presence if either or other it cannot be done if he had taken all your certificate s then you can give a complaint
