Call from wife’s city to appear in women cell

28-Jun-2025 (In Divorce Law)
I sent a legal divorce notice to my wife. She has been intimidating me through her links in local authorities. I have all the evidences of cruelty like threatening, creating issue outside my house by her parents, and her fake suicide attempt. I got a call from women cell from her city today asking me to appear on 3rd july at SSP office. I asked for a written notice and they said we dont have time for this. What to do.

Do seek a detailed legal Consultation from an Advocate having expertise into matrimonial Litigation cases. Do brief him about the facts of the case and explore Legal remedies available in the law. Do seek assistance as to what needs to be done on 3rd July.

your wife has filed a complaint to the women's cell, if you are getting call from him ,ask him to send notice or you càn visit the concerned women cell , you can submit the relevant documents before the women cell.

If there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
