By Sister in law filed a false Petition in police station on my family

My sister in law, due to her before marriage affairs, when it was revealed, she is demand property or else she is saying that she go na file 498 case on complete family. So what should I do.

From the facts stated, mere threat to file a case under Section 498A IPC to extract property or money amounts to coercion and misuse of law. Such conduct can itself be challenged legally. You are not bound to give any property or money under pressure. You should immediately preserve all evidence such as call recordings, messages, WhatsApp chats, or witnesses showing the demand and threats. Issue a strong legal notice stating she is threatening false criminal prosecution , property demand is illegal, and complaint at police station and ACP/DCP office and attach proofs of demanding property and threatening messages of 498 case,,,, approach us we will help u
