Applying divorce without documents

Hello Sir/Mam I,husband got married in 2022.Now I want to file divorce bcz wife has extramarital affairs.but I don't have marriage certificate, invitation card, marriage photos etc.so can I apply divorce without these documents.i don't have any marriage proof.pls advice

Hi,how did you both get married. Whether it was arrange marriage or choice marriage. Whether your husband admitted you as wife somewhere. Whether you have followed customs prevailing in your community for marriage. We can file divorce. For this need more information.

To file for divorce some proof of marriage is required. if you can arrange some photos taken during marriage function (even if you do not have the album some friend are relatives attended your marriage will have taken photos) other things can be managed.

1. The court will consider the documents before passing the order but in some situations the court uses extra powers to pass an order. 2. The court will rely on the documents but exceptional circumstances the advocate will help to how to get the evidence and assist the court to get divorce
