I want annulment of marriage as my spouse was mentally ill at the time of marriage ( suffering from schizophrenia ) so we should go for divorce or annulment as in laws were asking for heavy alimony.. please suggest ne

Thare is legal remedy if any of partner / spouse has been suffering from schizophrenia which had been hidden not disclosed then within 1 year file for annulment of marriage, not after that.
Again you may file divorce if case is chronic by medical report, nor managed by medicines.
There may be one-time settlement.
