Amendment of prayer in maintenance under section 125

I have filed for maintenance under section 125 crpc for amount 10000. Can I change the amount by amending the prayer? Is there any case law in support of this? Thank you

See there is no provision under the criminal procedure code which provides for amendment of the 125 Petition, however one recent judgment has been passed which allows the petitioner to amend the maintenance petition in absence of specific provision
