28-Dec-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am involved with a man who was due to get mutual consent divorce by next year mid however, his wife has now asked for maintenance and is taking him to court now. He has been separated for the past 1. 5 years from her now and she is in a different country. She is very well settled and now he and his family wants to fight the case. How long can this take? And also, him being in a relationship with me can have any legal implications? Need some advice on this.

The longevity of this case may vary from six months atleast to a year or two depending upon the argumnents and situations. If things get settled easily, the case will get over soon. You wont be having legal implications.
