Alimony Maintainence urgently needed our future is at stake

Hello, My husband is not traceable and I am told he works for a big company but no one ever exactly tells me where he is...i have raised my daughter alone for 13 years now and he hasnt helped financially for many years and otherwise. I need to seek his help for he had a good job and property and I have nothing..not even a job. I need to support my childs future and need to urgently seek help from him...i dont even know if he fraudulently remarried or no?? plz help me..thanks Shveta , Gurugram

file a case of maintenance before family court and mention his last known address and phone number in that petition. it is the only resort you are available with or furnish the address of his parents or sister etc. apart from this file a suit for partition of property through your daughter in respect to the properties of grandfather and grandmother of your daughter

The court can direct the police for investigation once the case is filed. You can file a maintenance case against husband under Section 125 of CrPC. The husband is liable to pay maintenance to the girl child till she is major. If the husband fails to appear, conditional warrant of arrest will be issued. He will be made a proclaimed offender which calls for imprisonment and fine.
