Advice required for Divorce matter for a Hindu Male

05-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am a 62 year old Hindu man, got re-married 12 years ago. I wish to seek advice on divorce. What would be the best form of divorce - mutual or contested? Can she go back after agreeing for mutual divorce and contest? What are the likely implications in terms or property sharing and any chance of alimony being awarded by the courts? She is not working whereas I am still working. The marriage was registered at Mumbai and we are now living in South India since few years. Will the court in South India entertain the request for a divorce?

Section 13B, inserted in the Hindu Marriage Act in 1976 to introduce divorce through mutual consent, provides for a total 18 months before a decree for divorce can be passed. Under Section 13B(1), a divorce petition can be moved by a couple following a judicial separation of one year.
