forcefully married by parents aftr knwing I was in love wit a guy frm another state.Prior to engagement,informed groom abt my bf,but he wanted to 2 ahead as he was 31& many girl turned down his proposals.My parents threatened 2 commit suicide &I got married. Husb forced relationship,I hit him wit a piece of glass.His face bleed.I booked flight 2 my city.Husb texted stating they r gonna file a complaint tat I ran away wit my bf along wit all the dowry jewelry.Now, aftr 8 yrs ,approached them 2 seek a mutual separation.Husb doesn’t want divorce & if i need they r demanding 25 lakh as compensation 4 reception expenses.They have my jewelry worth 30 lakhs.Am educated & have job & I do not seek any maintenance from them.Am not sure how to file DV case or 498a applies against them as I have no evidence & now its 8 yrs. I do want to initiate ipc 406 to retrieve my stredhan

Just file Divorce case on the groung of long and irretrievable separation. The courts have given divorce in such cases if you prove that you have no access to your husband for 8 years. You will divorce easily.
