Hindu minority and guardians Act,1956.
section 6 describe the custody of the child.
if the child is below the age of 5 years, court would prefer to give custody of the infant to her mother.
as such, no Act specifies the sole custody of the child to the mother.
but for the welfare of the child, it is preferable to give custody to her mother.
