498a charges from Indian on US citizen

31-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
We got married in India 15 years ago. I got my US citizenship five years ago, and wife got hers just an year ago. We never visited india together in the last 6 years. We were separated a year ago and she visited India a few months ago. Her parents are filing false 498a charges on me and my family in India. Do Indian courts have jurisdiction over me? Should I be worried?

hi if any case is filed against you and your family members then you could file quash petition to quash the FIR as it is based on all false allegations and that it had occured outside India and that you are not connected to those allegations
