Section 35(3) BNS दरअसल पहले IPC की तरह CrPC की धारा 41A जैसा ही है। इसका मतलब है कि आपको केवल पूछताछ (inquiry) के लिए बुलाया गया था, गिरफ्तारी के लिए नहीं। यह notice of appearance होता है — यानी आपको सिर्फ उपस्थित होना था, ताकि पुलिस आपकी बात सुने।
