Regarding Grievance filed in Consumer Court

10-Sep-2025 (In Cyber Crime Law)
The bank charged me some charges without prior intimation. The bank did not adhere to my queries and I received only standard reply from bank. No resolution was received even after grievance was filed and even after it was reported to RBI ombudsman department. How can grievance filed in consumer court passed further

if you have file for grievances it's like if bank is ready for settlement then only the grievances report on the national consumer helpline, will help your K if you want to file consumer court you need to send them a legal notice and file the complaint against the bank to get your case registered

Since you have already approached the bank grievance cell and RBI Ombudsman without any relief, your next step is to send a legal notice to the bank demanding refund of unauthorised charges and compensation for harassment. If they still fail to respond, you can file a consumer complaint before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. You can claim refund, interest, compensation for mental agony and litigation costs. Ensure you keep all supporting documents such as bank statements, grievance copies and RBI complaint while proceeding.
