Phone hacked and false messages and explicit image inserted into phone

I live abroad. I had an old android phone with overseas sim & no pin. I received many scam calls. Once I got into an argument with a caller. Subsequently, I received a voicemail message from a person claiming to be a Indian police officer wanting to speak to me regarding a police complaint by a lady in India that I had send her some nude photos of my private parts. The caller sent me a screen shot of a message the complainant had received which looked like as if I had sent it form my phone. I checked my phone and discovered that it was hacked many messages planted into my phone. A message with with male private parts was sent form my phone. The private part in the photo was not mine. My bad luck, I LOST THIS PHONE after a few months and I did not have any backups. My mobile company had deleted all old messages. I am not sure if the person claiming to be a police officer was a real officer. I am now scared to visit India and get into legal trouble on my entry. What should I do now?
