Legal notice serve through Facebook book messanger

I and traval with a person from new Delhi to sealdah on and 05.10.25. On that day some hot talk and miss behave performed by a passanger & I post some word with his photo at social media platform like facebook & Threads also deleted .Now this person send a legal notice through Facebook messanger to me on 04.11.25 u/s. 66E & 67 of IT act, 2000. non negotiable demand 1. Deleted the content. 2. A written apology 3. And furnish written undertaking on non judicial stamp paper. what can U do now.

you need to reply the person through your lawyer so that before he or she takes any adverse steps you can counter him with proper preparations so that your image is not tarnished rather stays protected face to face discussion is necessary

A message sent through Facebook Messenger is not a valid legal notice. Since you have already deleted the post, Sections 66E/67 of the IT Act will generally not apply. You are not legally required to give any apology or sign any undertaking on stamp paper. For any assistance, contact me.
