Job offer in Canada for 30 lacs via a public web portal.

17-Oct-2023 (In Cyber Crime Law)
Via a job portal, I was offered job in Canada for Rs 30,00,000. When I realised that I got cheated, I asked for refund of the money. The accusers blocked me from all communication channels. Since this offence comes under cyber crime, I reported the matter to the National Cyber Crime reporting portal. Immediately, the accusers took down their website and registered an FIR against me for defamation.

You must immediately give a perfectly drafted cybercrime complaint in your jurisdiction. Good drafting, lawyer assistance and regular followups will be very useful. Regarding defamation, you can quash the petition in high court.
