How to file a case against credit card fraud?

24-Jul-2023 (In Cyber Crime Law)
Recently I received a call from Shah Finlease (recovery agent for Stan C bank credit card) stating i had borrowed a credit card in 2004 and they are now asking to pay the dues. The truth is that I never borrowed any credit card from SC bank, even i did not stay in Pune in 2004 nor did i had my PAN card. Its almost 15+ years and now they are calling and asking to pay dues. I reported matter to SC bank. Strange thing they are asking me to submit my documents PAN and Address proof to verify. When I asked the details to Shah Finlease they gave all incorrect details (Address, email, date of birth). Other point to note was I visited police station and then they called recovery agent and they did not answer police properly and immediately after 5-10 mins i get a call from SC bank, which is quite suspicious. Need your views/support on this matter.

Well! You have never applied for any credit card from sc bank in 2004 and after almost 13 years they have awoken to recover the dues amount.

As you stated that you also inquired with bank and details are all false. You need to file complaint with police authority against the official of banks and also against the recovery agents and also against unknown person who on your behalf has secured credit card by submitting false documents.

If the police do not file the FIR against the above said person then you have to take order from the court to register FIR in your local police.
