Meri ek job consultant se baat Hui for job in IT sector usne kaha 15000 pay kro mein interview schedule krwa dunga but usne kaha tha agar apko nhi Krna to refund ho jayega Mera koi interview schedule nhi hua usse pehle mene usse mana kr dia mujhe nhi Krna refund krdo he said ok ho jayega but it's been a month wo phone tk ni utha Raha what should I do police case krdu uspar ?
Based on the facts stated, if the consultant accepted ₹15,000 on the assurance that the amount would be refunded if the interview was not scheduled, and despite repeated requests has neither refunded the money nor responded for over a month, you may initiate legal action. First, preserve all evidence such as payment receipt, bank statement/UPI transaction, WhatsApp chats, emails, advertisements and call records. Send a formal legal notice demanding refund within a stipulated time. If there was dishonest intention from the beginning, you may also lodge a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Portal or with the local police for cheating. If the amount is still not refunded, you may also consider filing a consumer complaint for deficiency in service and unfair trade practice, depending on the facts and available evidence.
