Can a person sharing other person's nude without permission prosecuted

Hello , i am a student of class 11th. I and my friend shared nudes in january 2017. As we promised each other we would delete it after seeing them I deleted his pictures but he did not instead he shared them with his friends and now my pictures are being shared widespread. I fear that someone may misuse them or might blackmail me. I need help please tell what can i do?

You can file FIR against him in 406 ipc and 66E IT act BECOUSE without your consent no one can do this it's a punishable offence firstly share with your parents and file FIR against him as soon as possible

As per your query the remedy available for you can prosecute him by lodging of first information report against the person who have shared your pictures for the offences punishable under information technology act and Indian penal code

This is a punishable offence under various sections of the Information Technology Act and Indian Penal Code. You should lodge a complain to the Cyber Cell in your city or your nearest police station. Person sharing such pics can be prosecuted.

Its a serious IT crime
