Year Correction in 498A FIR Quashing Order Delhi High Court

11-Mar-2023 (In Criminal Law)
In November last year, I got my 498A FIR quashed by the Delhi High Court, but in the order, the year of the FIR has been written as 2018 instead of 2019. Now I want to get it corrected. Please suggest. Please share your contact details on [email protected]

As you wrote, it was a typographical error in the order passed by the Hon'ble High Court. The high court has the power to rectify it by filing an application for correction of typographical error in the order sheet. More details are being sent to you on your email.

Hi, You can file an application for correction/ modification of the order before Delhi High Court seeking the correction of the year in that order and the court will correct it and pass a formal order.

Dear Client In the above conspectus, you simply need to file an application for rectification of the order. You will need a certified copy of the order passed and an accompanying application to rectify the clerical error. Feel free to get in touch for any further discussions.
